Hi all i have had enough of my electric shower going hot then cold on me esp this weather , would a multipoint water heater (electric) be suitable for running a power shower ?
any advice appreciated
thanks

mark..

depends what you mean power shower,if it has a shower pump then no.if its a blending vavle then yes,the force at which the water comes out of shower head on blending valve will be less than the elecy shower,i would replace elecy shower

Hi thanks for the replys i was thinking of a shower like this :

Aqualisa Aquastream Thermostatic Power Shower White & Chrome 8134021

can not use as just pump unit and you just have mains

and heater @:
Buy Zip Unvented Electric Multi Point Water Heaters Online
thanks..

will be worse than electric shower

Your shower going hot and cold, will be shower head scaled..clean,damaged hose..replace or if unit makes boiling sound could be scaled up thus over heating

get repaired or just replace, best option unless you want to run new hot and cold pipework to shower which gives you more options

yes the shower is quite old now so will prob need replacing any way,, ive just always fancied a power shower .
so a power shower needs a proper boiler with hot water tank then ??

my hot water is from an oil fired rayburn which i only use through the winter so not a lot of good in summer ,,
