Changed my first 3 port today. And I did it like a man lol.

Threw the old boy into the loft and told him to keep an eye on the bungs.

Wet vac, few towels and it was done in a jiffey.

I'm not draining down at 6 in the evening on the way home.

Good work. I'm too scared to change them that way!

i had to drain down a old system today cutting sections out to find a blockage, not nice work at all

I knew I'd be there for two hours if I drained down and probably end up with wet vac in the loft sucking airlocks.

No chance at that time of the evening

Surely if the system is bunged, then a wet vac could risk sucking / breaking the vacuum and flooding the place lol!?

Glad to see you are gaining confidence in bungs. It makes loads of sense. Quicker and no air locks.

Nice one. I have changed a few of these now but always drain down. I have bungs, attempted to use them once but started to see a bit more water than I hoped for. Would rather deal with an air lock than collapsed ceilings :D

Some systems seem to pull a vacuum quicker than others on bungs. Sometimes you can lose half a litre of water, others a few litres before it takes hold.
