Hi everyone

Need a bit of guidance if anyone can help me.

I have been a gas safe engineer for nearly 5 years now but have only realy worked on breakdowns. I have put a few hot water cylinders in and my pipeworks good but i have not realy been involved in any boiler installs. I've taken a job on to swap a boiler, combi to combi. Am I right in thinking it's literally just a case of draining the system, removing old boiler, connect new jig to wall, install condense, pipe up jig, hang boiler and tighten connections, and refill. Have I missed anything (apart from powerflu sh and possibly run new gas line if needed) and do any experienced installers have any tips to save me looking like an amateur

:welcome2: to the forum.

Sorry but the question sounds like it is D-I-Y
don't expect any serious response.

Get your posts up to 10+ then contact gasman with your gas safe details then you can discuss in the private gas safe forum. Nobody on here will give gas install info on open forum. I'm sure you can appreciate why

Breakdowns, maintenance Etc if you've been doing it 5 years and you have general plumbing knowledge then surely you would know the answer to your question?

As said, bud,get posts up and send your GSR to Gasman. We can then discuss further.

No harm to you aminz but please follow the advice above.
