Myson apollo 40s not working

Hi

I have myson apollo 40s which stopped working. The gas pilot is on when I switch it on the fan sound cones for a few mind then stops.
I had a guy round he opened it up blew into something with a straw it fired up. Now its stopped working ì rang him he goes my boiler is on its way out. However for another charge he will show how to get it going again without opening the boiler.Can anyone advise me what I can do I don't want to pay him again. I am looking at a new boiler but that will be once I've got some cash together.
