Myson MEP2c can it be used as 1 channell

Hi there we have to get our current programmer replaced. We only have one channel on current setup. We have a 2 channel myson MEP2c available to us for no cost. Can this be used on just a single channel setup ?

No obvious reason why you can't but make sure the person making the changes knows what they are doing .........
