Hi there.

My boiler has finaaly given up the ghost and I'm in the market for a new one. As my last one was so dreadfully unreliable I want to be really careful about which one I get this time. I've done a bit of my own research and think a Vaillant is what I am going to go for. I live in a 2 bed terrace property with one bathroom. Which model would people recommend? And would people recommend a Vaillant?

Any advasnce would be much appreciated
Thankyou in advance.

What was your last unreliable boiler? How old was it?
As already stated, what type of system have you got?

Smaller houses with 1x bathroom and no ensuite usually are suitable for a
combination boiler system. These systems heat the hot water instantly
and heat the rads also. They are also space saving as there is no hot water
storage cylinder or roof tanks.

Vaillant is a good reliable make, with excellent service back up.

If you are going to use the existing central heating circuit then it will need
adapting AND CLEANING OUT before a new boiler is fitted.

Get a quote from British Gas and then 3x other gas safe outfits local to
your area - the BG quote should be 2-3x the others.
