Hi all wonder if someone could make a recommendation.

Custard is complaining of cold kitchen/diner however there is only one piece of wallspace where a rad can be fitted. The room itself is huge and requires about 12k btus to heat it. With the limited hanging space can anyone recommend a rad suitable for the task or at least improving the situation.

Space available is 540-560mm wide but no height restriction.

Any thoughts appreciated

cheers

That is such a good idea, customer doesn't want major disruption though unfortunately as they've only just had the kitchen fitted. I'm just trying to upsize the existing single rad. Thanks for the suggestion though.

They do wall mounted versions too Riley if that's of any help? :)

Ah yes so they do. I will have a browse, cheers for that

The Stelrad Vertex K2 @50mm wide and 2200mm high will give 9548 btu.

Did you take into account the heat given off when cooking?
Are all the walls occupied, particularly in the dining part of the room?

Yeah, again nice idea cheers. All walls are absolutely chocka with units and racks and rails.

Try the type 33 triple panel or the HVN ?

Chris that's exactly what I need cheers for that.

Myson are doing new rads with higher outputs
Not sure how high they go to

I would advise her to fit an electric plinth heater I know it might be talking you out of a job but fitting a rad in the space you have might look a bit crazy.
