Hi I'm a plummer in training and would like some advice on an up and coming project: I am converting an existing bedroom into a cloakroom bathroom WC and hand basin. The room is situated above the existing ground floor bathroom. My question is can I connect to existing soil stack? There is one WC connected ,discharge direct to drain at base of existing soil stack, that then narrows to vent pipe after first 3 feet, out of roof: . The planned WC would be sited 3m above in same location with branch needed for wash basin. How would you go about this?
