Hi here are pics of the cartridge is need to replace it can't remove it and don't know the make and model of my shower it is 40mm in diameter

As I understand it common problems are ....
Encrusted with limescale
Without knowing make or model you have to remove it and count the splines then spend ages sourcing the exact replacement, better off measuring the distance between the feed pipes and replacing.


But then I could be wrong.

I wouldn't waste time looking. Far easier to fit a new valve. You will probably damage the shower by trying to get the cartridge out and the cost of the cartridge would mean that its uneconomical to do... I'm sure someone will know the make on the forum.

looks like homebase tat..as said..cost wise...replace..and maybe give the new one a clean now and then.......

As kozak says, just replace the entire lot. They're only about 100 odd quid, a new cartridge will be 50 plus anyhow.

bud go down to screw fix and get a new mixer bar £50 - £100 with 5 year warranty fits the old fixings sorted
