Hi everyone,

I'm currently out of work with 4 years of experience in plumbing, I have all the plumbing qualifications. I would like to know how to become gas safe registered If I plan to work for myself. Can someone please tell me how I can achieve this?

Thanks.

Get a gas work portfolio, from someone like BPEC, theirs is £75.

Find an engineer who installs, work with them for 140 days and fill in the work portfolio for each job you do.

Once complete and you're confident you know what you're doing, put in for your ACS.
