Hi Be grateful for any help/advice.Just had the above fitted...CH works Fine ..all hot water to Downstairs works fine..But Hot water to Bath Hot tap starts hot then goes luke warm then cold ...Shower works fine and so does sink both in the same room...

We are Stumped...

Thanks

turn down the flow on the bath tap for a start and see if that helps

What Lame said, then stick a valve in and throttle back, it will have a 22mm supply or 3/4"

Baxi aventa. A rebadged remeha. I hope you've sent off your warrenty paperwork...

If its fine downstairs it will be fine everywhere else. The boiler doesn't know where you are using the hot water.
your boiler will produce between 9-12 litres per min, fine for a small tap like a basin or sink. But on a bath tap the flow rate it too much, therefore the boiler can't produce enough. Your installer should have checked he flow rate and temperature at ALL outlets and adjusted to suit.

Other than fitting a valve under the bath to restrict flow the only means you have of controlling the temp at the bath tap is to turn the tap right down to restrict the flow to 9 litres per min. ( its not a lot!)

could be drawing cold through the shower valve and blending-try turing the shower tep lever while ah hot tp is on .get plumber back to check

Thanks for all your help guys ...Reduced the flow a tad on stop tap on Boiler and it works a treat ...

don't baxi put flow restrictors in the boilers - Worcester and glowworm do now

Advantage tbs.

Doh ! Take ages to respond aswell / hot to cold that is?

I've fitted one and was quite impressed but once it got going it still let 16l/m through. Can adjust the valve to open at lower temps
