I have a old potterton floorstanding boiler and would like something new have heard Worcester and vaillant are the best but thinking ideal mexico range might be a good plan as they do floor standing and it should fit straight in ? So basically what do you think would be the best bet for a new boiler it’s a big old house so want a good one- thanks

Yes ideal Mexico would be ok, but this is only for fully pump`d systems ,if you have gravity hot water you will have to convert to fully pumped system, have to fit condense pipe, and look at position of flue, may not comply with new regs.

I'm not keen on the mexico. It's basically an icos in a floor standing case.

thanks great input thinking more Worcester or vaillant cheers

Worcester have a good deal on at the moment 5 or 7 years parts and lab gaurantee just go on worcesters web site and find a local installer may availlable
