Hi all,
I am going to fit a salamander shower pump over the coming week and reading the instructions, it recommends 22mm pipework apart from the last 2m to the pump, as my CWSC is quite a way away from the cylinder, I am going to renew the pipework.
At present, the cold feed to the shower is in 15mm pipework and comes out of the side of the CWSC, not opposite the ballvalve inlet. The instructions again recommend opposite entry to prevent air getting in the pipework i assume.
Are there blanking plugs/caps that i can use on the existing 15mm tank connector or is it ok to cut the 15mm back close to the tank and use a compression blanking cap? Then i can proceed with installing a new 22mm tank connector in the tank?
Basically want to do everything by the book so as not to invalidate the warranty.
