1. To enable the forum to remain free. Wouldn't be paying for it that's for sure.
2. Nicobond? Never heard of them.
3. The fake welcomes from members, used loosely, who's first post is to welcome a sponsor.

Come on people.

Not questioning that the forum needs sponsors. Current ones don't last long.

But the majority of responses to that thread are fakes. It's fishier than Grimsby docks.

Might look good to the passing traffic and help to butter up a new sponsor, but really, come on.
