Anyone read the article about the £75 charge for access to the BSI, IGEm etc etc through the gas safe website??? Not sure yet if i like but reckon its def better value than the ridiculous cost of a single printed copy!!!!!

The costs of BS are ridiculous. They should be made freely available to anyone in the trade. You need to work to the standard but to get them you have to pay around £100 each one.

I suppose it is a start.

havent seen it yet, originally the "boss" of ARGI told me he was sure he was going to get access for them for £10 per gas guy

Well article says less than 10 engineers its £75 a year or £180 for 3 years. An tamz your right, supposed to work to a document that if you bought all of them they reckon costs £17000!!!!! yes 17 grand

Have any of you priced a sub to tionestop?

I've used it alot and got most of the stuff on there. Except for IGE documents
