Evening all.
Fitted the the boiler on Friday, Commissioned it using test mode, handed over to sparks for wiring up the controller, Mid position valve, Room stat and cylinder stat.
They couldnt figure it out, GW (Vaillant) Tech support don't work at weekends despite the fact that they claim to.
So so can anyone tell me how to wire the feed back from the wiring centre in the airing cupboard to the boiler ? The MIs do not tell you how to wire an external controller. All the Y plan diagrams that I can find give you the old method that livens up the boiler on demand, This boiler needs to be wired with permanent and switched lives right ? Using the block on the PCB to drive the pump. Does the boilers electronics look after the pump overrun? Do the signal cables from the controller go to the RT terminals 3&4 that are bridged by default and say 24v on them ? I need some clarity on this before I go back to the sparks again. Will call Vaillant tech support again tomorrow too.
