got a new hilti te7-a 36v cordless and just got a diamond core drill set 100mm etc but can u use these with the hilti or would i need a more powerful sds (corded) drill i dont wanna break the hilti after forking out alot for it ??? does anyone use a cordless sds to drill for boiler flues and wastes, i havent asked anyone but all the fellas i see on site just use a 110v corded drill. i was just wonderin ?😀

U have obviously never used a core drill or done a flue unless u used a cold chislel.
Just a bit of advise better to know what the drill can do before u buy it!

you need a purpose core drill,i,ve had a dewalt 36 v,for 4 years ,great drill but would,nt use it on coring holes,

I would not thingk of using such a nice bit of kit in this way
as said get the correct drill for the job

Another point
I have a 18v dewalt with three batteries,I do not do that much work with it now and very really use the three batteries,so they can be left a while ,is it best to keep them charged up or just charge them when you need them, does it make any differance toi there life span ?
