hello, went back the day after, the tap lets out three fl oz( apologies for using old money) after use. Customer didn't like it as he has a water meter. Would an aerator stop this ? Appreciate any suggestions.Dean.
The tap is designed to do that for health reasons so it's best left as it is.
Edit: I don't get why he thinks it's being wasted anyway. If you fill a kettle you don't pull it from under the tap before it's stopped running do you?
3 fl oz = 1/11111 m3. If switches the tap off ten times per day, that will be 0.33m3 in a year. 0.33m3 costs about £0.68p, so it will be a good few years before he recouped the outlay to (try and) prevent it.
