Bodger

As you can tell from my choice of username, I am a 'casual' DIY plumber (in terms of frequency, not attitude!), mostly believing that plumbing, like plastering (the job I hate the most) is best left to the professionals. However, shortage of money (and Mrs Bodger) dictate that I attempt the smaller plumbing jobs myself.

So far I haven't had the humiliation of having to admit defeat and call in a professional to finish what I have started, but there have been one or two jobs which have taken rather longer (and involved more language) than they should have done...

That was, until I put a new kitchen in recently, and encountered the strangeness of the Ikea plumbing range - which, months later, led me to type the words "plumbing help" into Googgle.

So here I am! Please treat me gently.
