Hi All,
Question.

Ok I have just got to the stage in my new house extension that I need to look at adding 3 or four rads to my existing system which is a two pipe system and the capacity of the boiler is fine.

The existing rads have micro-bore connected to them but I have no idea if I have a manifold or manifolds in the existing floor of the house to feed all of the 13 rads. (one is always cold by the way and no its not air)

I have got some of the existing floor up at the moment and can see pipes going to one of the existing rads but its a long way to see if its 15mm reduced to 10mm or its 10mm all the way so I'm at a loss to see how to extend the heating into my extension??

I can get access to the 22mm flow and return pipes which are close to the pump if that is of any help but its not easy......

2.
Am I allowed to run a new 15mm pipe under the floor boards for my new gas cooker but of course not connect it up?

3.
Can I just drill a 20mm hole in my Joist for the pipes to run through or should I just take a bit out of the top of them ?
Thanks

Goathead.
