Any leads on which make of bath i should go for in my new bathroom. I am going to do a square end / shower bath. I am just about to install the pipe work for the shower and do all the plaster boarding. But am stopping to think about the bath type.

I will be using a bowl sink on top of a standard wooden cabinet for the lounge. I have done this on our other bathroom and it works a treat.

The toilet will be nothing special.

It's just the bath which i am not sure which to go for. On our other bath i put in a villeroy and boosch and it is pretty strong. So i would like a similar strength bath. That cost £500.

Any good website. Or sales going on. Not interested in using bath store stuff etc or b & q

If it's for your own then I would go for an extra strength one, Carronite do a reinforced one. You don't want anything flimsy, handy if you can go to view and get your paws on it to give some idea of strength and durability.

Very nice, I'd never heard of them, got that one saved. Do you go direct or through merchant?

Had a customer with an air bath, lifetime gaurantee, he'd had it on site over 12 months before I fitted it. It leaked. I came and checked to make sure it wasn't the waste or trap. The company came out and replaced it all free of charge, really surprised me. I'd told him to leak up the number of a good boat builder to patch it underneath.

That's expensive for a bath of unknown quality I'd say. Go to your local merchants and ask what they an do for you, you'd be surprised.

The bath in the link above is actually £280 in the sale. It comes with the shower screen as well. I think it is only 5mm like every other bath i have seen on the net. Is this still expensive ?
