questions

1. at the minute, the boiler heats the water then dumps hot water to the rads at the one time is this the correct way of working? or should it circulate?

2. i cannot seem to get downstairs rads working on there own, this is when srlecting the proper zone on the programmer , the boiler wont fire , however if i select both upstairs an downstairs the boiler fires (electric or plumbing issue?)

2. the heat from the radiators is much more than what the stat on the cylinder would make out, the electrican told me the the bottom stat controls the boiler and the top stat on the cylinder is a fail safe for the stove,

whats the best temp for both stats to set at?

i include a photo of the cylinder

update

i turned the bottom stat to 0, the boiler still fires!, so obviously its not controlling it

if your installer cant advice you as to how it all works, you need to bin them, ask for a rebate and get someone in to show you how to work it all
