new viessmann Vitodens 100w 35kw hot water

just had the boiler fitted on recommendation by a few people. the only problem is the hot water isn't as hot as my old boiler even when i turn the dial to full. i know the plumber has run the pipe from the hot in 15mm then to 22mm about 3 foot after the boiler, would this make things worse?

The pipe sizing on this sort of set up will have little to do with the situation described. However if you only open the hot tap to say the bath a couple of turns as apposed to fully open the water is likley to get hotter with a slower delivery.

ok thanks, i do get a very good flow on my hot so i wont open the taps as far.

yeah the flow rate can sometimes be to much for the boiler!
