New World Merlin MF 017079 Gas Fire - Manual Needed!

Hi,

New World Merlin MF 017079.

I have this gas fire, but a gas engineer told me not to use it as I don't have the instruction manual that shows how the ceramic coals should be arranged. Correct arrangement is needed, to avoid faulty combustion & CO. I've looked online to no avail; the manufacturers don't exist as gas fire makers any more.

Any ides how I might find a manual for the fire? Any British Gas engineers here? ... .I did see on one site that BG engineers have a database of manuals on their laptops.

Yes! Thanks for the post, as with a bit of phoning around I've spoken to the company that took over the new world brand, and they do have a manual they'll print and post to me.

i have a similar issue with a New World 017099 Gas fire, any chance of the phone no. for the company that took over new world brand, thanks in advance, matt
