Hello guys,

Just want to introduce myself to the foruum and say I look forward to helping and getting advice from all of you.

Basically I have just completed my t4ts practical sessions (week 2) and am now in a position were I may be of some use. I am struggling a little with trying to get some experience and would love some advice as to my next steps.

I am based in the north west and would like to get some hands on experience as soon as possible. Is there anything that I can try

Regards Jamie

Welcome to UKPlumbersForums.co.uk Jamie Banks. Thanks for introducing yourself.

Welcome mate.

Jamie,

I'm currently training with T4TS and i'm finding the book work completely useless. I'm trying to council my course as i'm going to try and do the apprenticeship route.

Hi Jamie. Not training with T4TS but be interested to know how it's going.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the reply's, I personnally have found the T4TS course pretty good, think the package is very good with online training, your books for reference, 3D discs, practicals, tutor on hand etc.

T4TS are doing what they can to provide this however one thing is always about luck, and someone that is willing to give you a hand and guidance. I found that i was not sure as to what level i was up to, and not sure who to approach. It is a big step to be offered a potential job and to be unsure but you need to get into the best possible position and use your info to point out what system you have and any pointers also dont be scared to speak to people who know as they will tell you what they think you can or can not do. Still trying to get work but remember we are just getting out of a recession so could take a little longer than normal

My advice is to: WORK HARD, STUDY AND ENJOY

How did you get to the college? did T4TS organise and pay for everything like they said they will to me?

Send a pm to me with any questions or concerns and will try and help!
