Hey you guys thanks for all the advice.... to recap I'm one of the many thousand newly qualified chaps looking for work as an improver. I have about 24 months experience but it is all seeming so long ago....... I have 10 years general building experience and have passed my level 2 and am studying for the CCN1 which I hope to take in April.... My general plumbing is ok and I am looking to work with someone who will teach me the gas and heating side of things. I am ok with pipe layout but need to learn wiring etc..... Have had some great response and advice from the forum but hope for a new start in the new year. I have all my own hand and power tools and van and live in the middlesex area. I am a good, reliable (and cheap) worker who is motivated to learn..... So if anyone can make my dreams of becoming a heating engineer before I retire come true give me a shout on 07951255243.
