Hi all, thanks in advance for any advice you can offer. I have a Remeha Selecta Combi, 8 years old. Hot water working ok but no heating. Thermostat is calling for heat, signal being received, boiler not kicking in. Pressure about 0.6 bar. In the past I have (perhaps coincidentally) topped up pressure from about 0.7 to 1.0 bar (I believe the PRV may leak a little) and managed to get things working again. The filling loop, however, is now not working (no sound of water rushing in, no rise in pressure when both valves open). Engineer/plumber has had a look, turned hot tap on and off, felt some pipes and concluded my diverter/3-way valve needs replacing, £100 part, £150 labour. This repair work is due to happen imminently but I'm not convinced by the diagnosis (or the price to be honest). I think the cost may be higher as it's one guy and his mate (who is the gas safe registered person) doing the job (not charging hourly, it's a 'fixed' price I am told).
