Hello, Im new to this forum so hello, I am a bathroom fitter so I will keep visiting to check discussions out.
I have a Baxi combi 80 eco about 8 years old which has recently been playing up.
Suddenly last week, when I called for heating from the room stat the boiler sparked and fired up but only stayed lit for 15 seconds then went out, the exact same thing happens with the hot water.
I called a colleague who came and said it was the pcb after his conversation with baxi technical dept,
Note* there are no warning lights coming on.
So I fitted a new pcb and it does exactly the same,
This is my own boiler at home,
As another note* it makes a whirring noise at first for about 10 seconds approx, but this seems to vary, then there is a click, the fan kicks in then it fires up, but only for 15 seconds then it extinquishes.
If I leave the tap running it sometimes fires up again when the fan kicks in but then goes off again.
I would really appreciate some advice, as i am festering away, but my wife seems to be able to bath with pans??
