Hi, can anyone help me, I have just had a new bathroom fitted, the mixer taps on the bath has two pipes leading to it, one cold one hot obviously, I previously had single taps and the hot water pressure was not a problem however after fitting new taps the hot water is nothing more than a trickle the bath water would be cold by the time i ran a bath lol, the taps I bought are suitable for both low and high pressure systems, the taps are connected using a flexi hose, the plumber who fitted the bath says it has something to do with the gap/space within the tap itself, I do not understand this as the cold water runs absolutly fine, he suggest i get a pump, I am not sure if this is just a ploy to get me to spend more, both hot and cold water was fine before and as the tap runs off two seperate pipes I do not understand why hot water pressure has dropped. As you may of gathered I am no plumber and would be grateful for any help/advice..P.S can the fact that he changed the tap heads over ie cold to hot and visa versa have some bearing on this ...
