Hi, i cannot get any hot water with this Sime boiler, unless i turn on the central heating via the thermostat and even then it is luke warm. The central heating works perfectly, but when the C.H. is off and i want hot water the pilot light will not fire up. The engineer says i need to "flush" the system and if this does not work maybe a new boiler. I have had the boiler 7 years.
Hope someone can help, thanks.

i am not familiar with that model i mainly work with 30he formats murrells and ecomfort all of these boilers have divertor valves so i would suggest that your fault would lie with either the hot water diaphram or micro switch hope this helps

Hi, thanks for that. I have now booked a different gas safe engineer and will suggest this to him.
Cheers.
