Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a boiler just for the hot water cylinder in the garage with the pump just above it. Flow and return run all the way to the loft and then drop back down to the airing cupboard to feed cylinder. Flow gets hot to the loft but no further, there are two air vents in loft which i have vented.

Motorised valve seems to open and close with the stat, and the spindle seems free.
The pump seems to run, maybe not running properly? Or could there be some muck in the motorised valve.

Appreciate any help,
cheers

If boiler is just for hot water cylinder, why have you got a motorised valve fitted ?

However when you vent the pipework at to top in loft make sure pump is off and valve in open position (open manually if required)

Also check header tank full of water

imho

Well i dont know whether it was blocked or not but i drained and re presurised. It took alot of venting, i think maybe it was just air, because of the way the pipes are laid out.

I did think that maybe the pump(15-50) wasnt man enough as its travleing some distance and doing two cylinders in different parts of the house, but it seems to be going around ok now.

Thanks for the advice
