Hi all, I have a problem. Since fixing a leaking bathtap i have had problems with hot water.
It is not as hot as previously and sometimes not at all. Any ideas? All help appreciated.
 
Fixing involved replacing washers, also rehung a radiator the water was very hot previously.. Not the weather because it gas not happened before. Its a combi .

il tell you exactly what you have done, when turning the cold water mains off you didnt realise that the tap wasnt fully open, You did your work then opened the cold water stop tap again but this time you opened it fully....this caused more flow which in return meant more water going through the boiler and finding it harder to heat as it passes through...add this to the fact that its very cold outside....

Seems likely. The op should throttle the stop tap down a bit
