Hi

Can anyone help. I need to go to a property tomorrow where the tenant is complaining that the water keeps stopping from both the hot and cold taps. This is happening intermittently at all the taps in the property, bathroom , kitchen and washbasins. The water is supplied from the mains and has a pressure reducing valve before it goes into the megaflow which produces the hot water.

He is saying that sometimes when he turns the taps on nothing happens, no flow at all and then the flow will come but with no spurting which seems to suggest it is not an airlock.

Has anyone come across this and what would be your suggestions

Many thanks

If it's happening to outlets not fed by the megaflow combination valve (kitchen tap, garden tap etc) then I'd check the mains stop valve into the house isn't knackered.
