Got a customer with a pretty odd noise complaint. Basically its a gravity system, a loud banging noise and rattling occurs even when no taps have been run or loo used - middle of the night. It actually makes the hot water tap run in the kitchen. When she told me I said she needed ghostbusters not me!
Airing cupboard all pipes are cliped, pipes under the sink are quite rigid too, tap is on flexis so how on earth it turns itself on I dont know. I've not heard the noise myself but asked her to record it next time.

Have any of you come across this kind of thing?
