Discuss Noise from combi boiler in the Boilers area at Plumbers Forums

Hi

Recently my boiler lost pressure, after being topped back up it then started making a rattling type noise (shown in the attached video).

After a couple of days the noise stopped but then on the evenings when the boiler has been coming on and off for a period of time the noise starts up again.

I’ve had a heating engineer check the boiler and said it seems to be fine (just my luck the noise wasn’t happening when he came out).

If anyone has any idea what could be causing it that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
