Hi,

I live in a block of flats, for some reason the cold water tap in the bathroom sink runs for a couple of seconds then there is a 'thunk' in the pipes and the water flow ceases immediately.

the water flows fine from the hot tap. it runs fine from all taps including the cold water tap on the bath tub.

so I figured it must be something to do with the tap head gear and stripped it down and put it back together. but its still doing the same thing. any advice/ideas would be appreciated.
