hi,

wondered if anybody can throw any light on this as my plumber cannot, he has just fitted a new worchester (bosh) combi boiler in the loft, we get a noise after it has been running as thought there is a car engine running outside, it seems to be coming from the corner of the lounge we think its boiler related he says not. Also we have had a new shower fitted and when you run the shower it goes cold and takes ages to come back on, he has fitted 3 new valves and it is still not working, again we think its boiler related. Can anybody throw any light on this?

Many Thanks

trv running in reverse ? look at the trv see if it has an arrow moulded into the body this shows direction of flow if two arrowheads then its bi directional and not the problem if one way is it flowing the right way ? flow pipe will get hot first
need more info on the shower and was it a combi before ?
