A bit behind in OZ, they have them every where. Even in hotels, bit of a shock when someone flushes the bog and you burn your bum..... Still funny to turn on the hot tap when the missus in the shower though.

if theyu are fed by gravity from the same tank and the cold is tapped in to the CWSC in a way that if water runs out low the hot stops first then it would be alright although these days there is so little difference in cost thermostatic should be a no brainer imho.

on a combi you would still get fluctuations if another outlet is opened elsewhere inthe house.
