Blocky

Hi
can anyone tell me why a H/W cylinder seems to run out of hot water water after one shower when there use to be enough for 3.

Are you heating it electrically via economy 7?
If so you Will have two immersion heaters and the bottom one has failed. The top one only heats the top third or so.

Have you lived in the house long?

What could be happening, is that the cold water that you are mixing with the hot to shower in a nice warm spray is colder (as we are in Autumn not summer).

Therefore you will use more hot water to keep the water at a comfortable temp' and therefore it won't go as far. You could try turning the stat up on the cylinder. however be careful of scalding yourself.
