Hi,

Do any guys on here send the certs to themselves first, before handing over to the customer, I have done a few times, only when I think the customer is a bit dodge.... with today’s climate there maybe more knockers round the corner..

Thinking of putting something on my quotations stating that “all relevant paper work will be handed over on final a full payment"

i'm not saying you are wrong to want to do this, but i bet you arent allowed to do it, i read somewhere of someone who withheld gas certs for payment and was told it was illegal, as under the gas regs we have to issue within 28 days, no mention in the gas regs about payment etc

theyll look pretty stupid trying to sue you for the ticket if they havent paid you!!!
