nvq level 2

Can anyone offer me any advice on how to progress my city and guilds level 2 to a nvq.

I got my c&g cert over 2 years ago and have been working in plumbing since, just wondering if any one can give me advice on the next step. Can i get my nvq through doing on-site assessments or would i have to go back to college one day a week.. I tried calling the college where i did my course but they haven't been much help.

I'm based in Brighton so if anyone has any ideas let me know

theres a few colleges around the country that are available but not all. it will cost around £700

Yes, it consists of various site assessments carried out by a college assessor including competency of work and how you hand health and safety on site.

Very easy assessments from my experience, however I have seen students fail.

In terms of information, a quick search on your local colleges plumbing department's courses may be a good start, colleges differ in how they run their courses.

I done a NVQ Level 2 under (QCF) but some colleges have different awarding bodies.

you need to register at the college and its all on site assesments, you might have to go to the college once?
kirkgas is the man in the know!



this is one for the hvac commerccial/domestic but most centers provide all.
