The proposed position of a boiler on a office block with one floor. Is set to be the female toilets. Is this OK with regards to access to the boiler? Also the gas would be entering the building from the cellar were the gas meters are located. The building is split in to 4 areas each with its own boiler. So a gas isolation valve would be installed where the pipe enters the building in the female toilet. So this would need access too incase of an emergency. Is this purposed layout acceptable? Any one been involved in a similar situation? Thanks

It’s one of them if it’s the only place it can go but creates another problem :D

agree with the above any time there’s boiler work toilets need to be shut

Thanks it's purposed there as they don't want it in one of the office rooms as there to be individually let. Can I ask though the boiler would be further than 600mm from the basins. Do they class a zone around a basin like they do baths and showers? Having to be over 600mm from the edge of a bath to take you to zone 3.

300mm around a basin
