Due to the economic climate I have now had to come back to the home ownership market - I have just purchased a small bungalow that needs complete renovation and main part is heating boiler - the property has oil fired boiler which is years old - I have had a heating engineer out to give me a quote and he has quoted for a Worcester Greenstar Heatslave condensing combi boiler -- At my old house I had a normal oil boiler by Eurocal - a 50/70 and it worked perfect for the 15 yrs I had it - My question is - What in your opinion is the best Oil fired Combi Condensing boiler to have-- a few mates have condensing boilers (gas) of differing makes of less than two years old and have had problems - as a pensioner the last thing I want is forking out for a new boiler only to find I should have had boiler B instead of boiler A - so any advise would be appreciated.

thanks Dave
