Good Morning,

Would really appreciate some help if possible.

Cant get hold of Plumber til next week and our oil boiler has packed up so have no water or heating.

If think its gone into lock out so i press the button which starts the boiler and it makes nooses presumable a pump but it never makes a boom sound like it normally does so sounds like its not firing.

Is there anything i can do or check or is it fruitless without having an engineer round.

Everything was working fine prior and yes we have plenty of oil in the tank.

Good morning, welcome to the forum.

It could be a number of things and none of them really a diy job, you may find some one local to you who could come out sooner.

Post in the looking for a plumber section of the forum.

if your getting a boom at start up its time for a service anyhow. if you post your area someone on here might get to you quicker.
