In a similar vein to the other thread, what is the oldest date stamp you have seen on a oil hose recently.

I saw a braided hose dated '90 last week on a myson velaire

Was called out to an oil leak on a boiler last year and found a hose dated 98. It had gone brittle and cracked, leaking oil out. The boiler had been serviced annually by another OFTEC engineer who had never spotted this.

I was called to commission a new oil burner last week, turned on oil and it was peeing out of the crimp on the flexi.... date was 1999 and shop had supplied it so i have been told!!!
