Linum vitae and boxwood bossing mallets, turnpins and bobbins all sizes for use in a lead workshop.

Anything from the colleges or training schools? now lead work is not for plumbers?
 
i went to a heritage museum in sussex this weekend and they had a display of old plumbers tools including four sets of bobbins a kingley tool several dressers and bossing sticks
what i still cant remember is the name of the cutters we used for cutting galvanised tanks can anyone jog my failing memory

I know these as cooks cutters myself still got mine here somewhere [not in any rush to use them ]sooner use starretts these days regards turnpin:biggrin:

monodex cutters?? i used these on copper cylinders when cutting in immersors
 
Monodex were fine for cylinders but i used to use a cone cutter for galvy tanks or another tank cutter with an arm that was used with a brace. It looked like those holesaws on some tile cutters.

How times have changed lol
