One radiator always needs bleeding.

The vertical hall radiator always requires bleeding at least once a week.
At first i thought it was just the system getting rid of all the air, it may still be but it seems like a lot and its always just this one radiator.

I have needed to top the boiler pressure back up a couple of times, its never stopped working or anything but when it drops slightly below 1 bar i top up to 1.2 bar, done this twice so far.

Now the system was fitted beginning of September so i would have expected the air to all be gone by now.

So what should i start looking at?
Oh and yes it has inhibitor in the system.

Any drips or weeps any where? Run your fingers around the edge of all pipes into radiators and around all valve joints on radiators. Any damp air wet marks?

Now the system was fitted beginning of September so i would have expected the air to all be gone by now.

It can take several months for a new system settle down and stop evolving air and hydrogen (while the 'passivating layers' form on reactive metal surfaces).

In most cases the homeowners don't notice this because automatic air vents take care of it. In your case, the 'tall' radiator is allowing gas to collec in a manner that you notice.

I'd give it a couple more months before worrying. If I'm right about the cause you will note that the amount of gas that needs venting each week diminishes gradually with time.

Nothing that I have noticed and I have had a quick look. Puzzled that is only the one radiator, the others don't get any air at all.

Are you bleeding this rad then topping it back up to 1.2 bar when the heating is on? If so could be that although your bleeding it an refilling as soon as the system goes off an cools the pressure reduces leaving an air gap on that rad

I have bled the radiator while the heating is on. But I only top up when it's cold. The pressure rises a bit when the heating is on so always wait for it to cool.

Getting this now. Just my luck.

Press restart and it starts working again, done it twice so far.

It is the second time, so I'm in contact with the installers.
They have asked if I have a bypass radiator, which I don't, but I do have an auto bypass valve. Could that cause this.

They should know as they installed the boiler and was upto them to either install one if you haven't

I wouldn't say that was a bypass fault

Try putting it in to vent mode this may cure the problem. Arrow down through menus to find it.

So Ideal came to it today. He said it was working fine there and then but changed the thermostat any way, left a spare as well.
But he said he things it could be the auto bypass not open enough, as at one point the return was hotter than the flow, he's said either get the fitter back or just open it another two notches.
