Hi Chaps,
I'll shortly be fitting a new washing machine in the kitchen - the current one being inconveniently situated in the garage
The only practicable location is as shown in the following (poorly drawn!) sketch:
A solid fuel Aga used to live in the chimney breast, but it was ripped out and will be replaced by an electric range cooker.
The only access to a cold feed pipe is at the sink, so the new feed to the washing m/c must make its way through the existing kitchen units and chimney breast walls. The waste can just exit through the wall to the soil stack just outside.
What would be the best approach, without having to pull the kitchen units? Is it acceptable to run the pipe within the units, rather than behind them?
