im out of my time now.. waiting on my certificate from my employer saying this but I don't want to make an issue about it because I'm leaving next month to start out on my own. But if he still hasn't sign it by then how do I get it? or does the employer use this to there advantage so they pay you less?

You don’t get a certificate from your employer. The college you attended will issue one. As long as you ha e passed all the elements.

Your employee will sign to say you have completed your time out as a trained plumber. This is what I'm needing.

I very much doubt your employer will give this to you before the day you leave, and have given all his kit back to him...

I use all my own tools power tools.only thing it is his Testo analyser and van.

A pie of paper from an employer saying you are trained means nothing.
Have you done a college course? The only accepted qualifications are from a college, or training centre.
In 2013 he was about to start a pre plumbing college course, then he started as a 29yr old apprentice with the local council. So don't understand what piece of paper the employer has to sign off either.

Your employer cant give you anything but the awarding body who certified you with your competence will

In another thread that you started you said you had family & friends in the trade, have you spoken to them about this "piece of paper"?

I had indentures issued by our government's registered apprenticeship scheme. The UK doesn't have an equivalent? I have my City & Guilds L2 and L3 certificates and the extra one from the government scheme which talks about time served, the company I trained with and areas of work I was proficient in. I like the kind of old fashioned indentures I got.
