I'll be honest: I think the internals of that particular Viessmann boiler are messy and agree access will be hard if anything ever goes wrong. Wouldn't want one myself.

Now completed chaps paperwork this afternoon have a great weekend . Kop

Tidy!

Why did you put all those horizontal bits of studding in to support that pipe in the loft rather than just just clipping to the existing timbers? Nicely done, but seems a lot of extra work. Was location critical, or had you already drilled the hole and didn't want to add extra bends/use Munsen rings?

You got it bud to avoid extra fittings that aren't needed a range cooker and gas fire in the property as well as the boiler joined up the old 22 mm gas supply to our new 28mm so the boiler fed two ways if needed and no redundant pipework.

The plastic hydroblock? EDIT: Oh I see, but then we fit Magnacleans and they're okay, except the seals :)
Yeah but they are on the return at lower temperatures this is my experience with plastic hope I'm wrong bud .

Nice Install KOP.

Is that boiler basically a combi boiler with a storage tank heated via a plate heat exchenger.
I can see the heat exchanger behind you analyser.

What size is the tank? Recovery time?

Like the touch screen on the front.
Would like to know the price of that as a spare part?
